Position Overview

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of experience in Special Procedures nursing for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will provide nursing prep and recovery for a variety of imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform nursing prep and recovery for Interventional Radiology (IR), CT, Ultrasound (US), MRI, Nuclear Medicine (NM), and Fluoroscopy procedures.
Monitor and assess patients before and after diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient records.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

Certifications: BLS and ACLS (required); PALS preferred
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Special Procedures nursing
Must-Have Skills: Strong patient assessment, monitoring, and recovery care

Position Details

Shift: 10-hour days (Varied 4x10 shifts, occasional Saturday shift)
On-Call Requirement: 2-3 shifts per month depending on staffing
Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 40
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start Date: 6/16/2025 – End Date: 9/13/2025)
Travel Candidates Only: No local candidates within 50 miles
