Surgical Nurse - 244177 New

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a direct hire opportunity at an outpatient clinic and ambulatory surgery center. In this role, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical setting.

This is a permanent, full-time position—not contract or temp—ideal for a nurse who values stability, a consistent weekday schedule, and a no-call environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Accurately interpret and document clinical information
• Collaborate with physicians and surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Respond to changes in patient condition using sound clinical judgment
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-op care
• Foster a culture of trust, inclusion, and teamwork

Schedule / Shift:

• Mondays and Wednesdays, every other Thursday.
• 10-hour shifts
• 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch)
• Schedule created one month in advance
• Preference for Monday–Friday availability, but will consider candidates available any four weekdays
• No call, no weekends, no holidays

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current RN license in the state of Georgia or Compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least one year of experience in one of the following areas:
• Operating Room
• Emergency Room
• ICU / Critical Care
• Labor & Delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Flexibility to occasionally float to a nearby facility (within 10 minutes) to support PTO coverage
